Improved stripper-spring assemblies have all the
feature of the traditional design plus the following improvements.
The base-nut is case-hardened and the shoulder screw
is stronger to improve reliability.
The base-nut includes a set-screw which can prevent
loosening of the assembly.
The overall length (L) of the assembly is held to a
tighter tolerance.
- The coil spring is improved for longer life.
